Emotional Regulation Reflection Sheet
Emotional regulation is an important part of helping students recognize, understand, and manage how they feel. When they take time to reflect instead of reacting right away, they start to notice patterns about what triggers certain emotions and what helps them feel better.
This Emotional Regulation Reflection Sheet guides students through that process by encouraging them to identify their feelings, think about what led up to them, and explore what coping strategies work for them. It can also provide insight to educators and related service providers about the students' needs. Use the worksheets any time a student experiences strong emotions, needs support processing a challenging situation, or could just benefit from a moment to pause and reflect.
